UPDATE: German officials have announced that the shooter in the German movie theater incident is dead.
In Viernheim, Germany a mass shooting has taken place wounding somewhere from 25 to 50 people as reported by German public TV on Thursday.

According to Haaretz.com, “A masked man with a gun and ammunition belt open fired in a cinema complex in the small western German town of Viernheim, near Frankfurt, injuring between 20 and 50 people and barricaded himself inside.”
Police spokeswoman Christiane Kobus has stated that she cannot at this time give further details on the tragic incident at the Kinnopolis movie theater.

Eyewitnesses stated that gunman disguised himself, and was wearing a cartridge belt across his shoulder with a gun in hand.
Around 25 people were injured when the authorities were forced to use tear gas, according to Bild.
