On Thursday, X-Files star Gillian Anderson made an appearance on This morning to promote her new wellness book titled We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere.
Considering that the new book is supposed to offer “the secret to happiness,” many viewers were quite perplexed to see the actress and her co-author Jennifer Nadal looking rather depressed and barely even able to crack a smile during the entire interview.

Shortly after the interview, Twitter erupted with viewers providing their commentary on Anderson and Nadal’s behavior. One social media user blasted the women writing: “#thismorning well NOT be buying there book then as they both look a right pair of miserable b******s (sic).”
