In the aftermath of a fatal motorcycle crash in Kentucky, one man snapped a photograph of the scene and many believe he may have captured a supernatural moment.
The photo was posted on Facebook by the photographer’s son, Saul Vazquez, and shows what appears to be a faint outline of a figure hovering over the scene of the accident on the highway. The crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on Highway 15 near Stanton, according to WLEX. The man on the motorcycle was the only person involved in the crash, and was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Vazquez posted the photo with the caption: “I took this picture just a few minutes ago from the cab of my truck it was an accident between Campton and Stanton on the service road just off of the mountain parkway, zoom in and pay attention to the shadow just off the top of the state trooper hat. All I say is I hope everyone involved is okay!!”
Minutes after posting the picture, many Facebook users began commenting that the photo appears to have caught the dead man’s spirit leaving his body. One Facebook user, Carmen Clay, commented on the photo, “I think there’s a person that passed away is watching his looking down on his own body.” The photo was already shared over 16,000 times in just 10 hours.
Vazquez has not responded to requests for comment, according to CNN, but he did, however, mention to CNN affiliate WLEX that the photo was not altered.
