This hilarious mash-up of Game of Thrones and the 2001 comedy film Black Knight is a parody of a promo for an upcoming episode of HBO’s award-winning fantasy series, revealing that Martin Lawrence’s ‘Jamal Walker’ is the newest member of the King’s Guard.
With clever editing, it appears that Jamal is a zany new addition in the Seven Kingdoms. A nervous and anxious Jamal receives Cersei Lannister’s (Lena Headey) icy cold stare as he tries to make himself comfortable in an chair.

However, he does receive a warm welcome from the Red Priestress Melisandre (Carice van Houten) and Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju). She shows him her magically-enhanced assets, and the Wilding leader makes googly eyes at him. It’s comedy gold!
Black Knight (2001) – In this hilarious comedy, Jamal (Martin Lawrence) toils unhappily at Medieval World, a theme park that looks like it has not been renovated (or had customers, for that matter) since the Dark Ages. After falling into the park’s fetid moat, Jamal crawls out into fourteenth-century England, a world of knights in shining armor and damsels in distress…not to mention questionable hygiene and really lousy plumbing! Now a stranger in a very strange land, Jamal falls in with a dissolute knight, a beautiful woman with some very modern ideas, and even leads a rebellion against the evil king. The Middle Ages will never be the same when Jamal uses his twenty-first century street smarts to help his new friends!
Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
