After the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee made controversial comments regarding the recent shooting in Orlando, Seth Meyers has banned Donald Trump from appearing on his show Late Night With Seth Meyers. The shooting in Orlando claimed 49 people's lives and wounded more than 53 others. Trump commentary regarding the situation went on to rub Meyers the wrong way.

"Trump is stoking fear and spreading hate" said Meyers, "We cannot allow it to be normalized." Meyers notes that Donald Trump has banned certain media outlets from covering his campaign, therefore Meyers is banning Trump from appearing on his talk show. "As long as the Washington Post is banned from Donald Trump's campaign, Donald Trump will be banned from ever coming on this show."

In light of Trump banning certain media outlets that gave his campaign bad press, Meyers joked that by the time of the election that the only outlets covering Trump will be the "National Enquirer and Rich Pricks Monthly". While Meyers did ban Trump from appearing on his show, Meyers admitted, "To be fair he wasn't coming on anyway, let's be honest. He isn't interested in being here."

The comments Trump made regarding the shooting that set people off were in a speech where he criticized President Barack Obama by accusing him of being sympatethic of ISIS. "We're led by a man who is not tough, not smart - or he's got something else in mind. And the something else in mind - you know - people can't believe it," said Trump.
