At Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida, the audience witnessed a scary moment on Sunday night as Dopey slipped from the upper deck of a steamboat down to the level below. The actor landed on top of one of the other characters in the performance, Goofy.

The mishap took place during the show's finale in which the entire cast was performing Fantasmic! on the steamboat. The first concern was for the performers when the person dressed up as Dopey came down in full force on top of Goofy's head. The performer playing Chip rushed to Dopey's side, and you can even see Dopey making a hand gesture to ask for assistance. Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and a handful of other characters continued to dance and sing after the fall. Clearly, the show must go on after all.

Several members of the audience shared video of the incident on social media. They joked that maybe Dopey was just a little too much in character because, it was only appropriate that the characters involved in the mishap were Dopey and Goofy.

According to Theme Park Insider, the initial reports on social media mentioned that both actors involved in the incident were able escape immediate injury. Also, an ambulance was called for the two performers, and they were treated and ultimately released, according to NBC's WESH.

Disney will likely be taking precautions to make sure that any future dangerous falls can be eliminated, as this accident presented a true safety concern and could have resulted in extreme injury for either one of the actors. The incident is currently under review.
