Acclaimed director Steven Soderbergh began his retirement from film making back in 2013. Thankfully for all of us, his hiatus was short-lived and the director decided to make a return with Logan Lucky, in theaters now.

It's looking like Soderbergh hasn't missed a step either, as the heist comedy starring Channing Tatum and Adam Driver currently sits on Rotten Tomatoes with a fresh score of 93%.

Since we here at PopCulture.com are all about movies that involve thoroughly planned out robberies, we decided to round up the 10 Best Heist Movies!

The fact that Logan Lucky is getting such good critical reviews shouldn't come as a surprise to those who are already fans of the director, seeing as how he's no stranger to the heist genre, directing a different critically acclaimed heist movie that just so happened to land in the No. 3 spot on our list - Ocean's Eleven.

A lot of people don't realize that the 2001 casino caper was actually a remake of a 1960 film of the same name starring several members of the rat pack, including Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. With a cast that cool, it might have been hard to top the original, but thankfully, Soderbergh was able to land an incredible cast that included George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Matt Damon, to name a few.

The movie was such a hit that it spawned two sequels with an additional sequel featuring an all-female team currently in development.

So what's your favorite heist movie? Do you think it made the No. 1 spot? To find out where it landed on the list, click on the video at the top of the article.

And definitely head to the theater to check out Logan Lucky!
