One look at Jennifer Aniston will tell you she’s been treating her body right for years. The 48-year-old is a living, breathing testament to eating healthy and exercising (and good genes, of course).

She has long since touted the benefits of waking up early and starting her day with hot water with lemon and a healthy breakfast — and now she’s opening up about her typical workout routine.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Aniston shared her new go-to workout: The Class by Tamryn Tooney, an intense yoga-cardio-strength hybrid workout that is equal parts sweat and catharthis.

“I do The Class by Taryn Toomey, and I’m back in the gym with my trainer, throwing heavy boulders around and pushing medicine balls and wiggling and shaking that big rope thing [battle ropes],” she said, adding that she goes through spurts with battle ropes because they’re so difficult. She’s also a fan of interval workouts on the elliptical.

“And then I do 45 mins of intervals on my elliptical. I raise the incline, run for two minutes, walk for one, run for two… and I do it for 20 minutes straight until I’m just drenched,” she said.

Aniston has previously spoken about the benefits of elliptical and treadmill workouts, telling Well+Good that “it’s really good to get sprints in, to get in that interval training, because it’s monotonous to do one pace. The whole time your body goes, ‘I know what’s happening…’ It’s good to pump it up and then take it down.”

Aniston has always believed that switching up her workout is key to keeping her body in the best shape. “Keeping your body confused is always the key for me,” she told Well+Good.

While her fitness routine is obviously working for Friends icon, it’s also important to remember her healthy diet works wonders.

“If I’m working, I’m up at 4:30, 5 a.m.,” she told Well+Good. “If not, between 8 and 9 a.m., because I’m a late-night person—I putter. But usually, when I wake up, I’ll make my standard cup of hot water with a slice of lemon in there.”

After her morning hot water with lemon, she’ll have a coffee and a quick protein shake (protein powder, bananas, blueberries, frozen cherries, stevia, green veggies, maca powder, cacao and collagen peptide) if she’s on the run.

If she has time to have a sit-down breakfast, Aniston goes for Ezekiel whole wheat toast and poached eggs with avocado and a drizzle of coconut oil.
