The fire department rushed to Kayden's Kerrville, Texas, home to find the boy had suffered burns across 20 percent of his body, from his ears to his belly and under his arms. Kayden was immediately taken to the hospital where he was sedated and put on life support.

Kayden's mother Trysten says her son, who exhibits autistic behavior, was playing in a field with two other boys who she believes intentionally poured gasoline on him and set him on fire.

The Kerrville Police Department arrested a juvenile and charged him with first-degree arson, but not attempted murder.

"He needs justice," said family friend Ashely White. "I mean, no kid deserves to go through anything he's going through. At all. Period."

Our heart and prayers go out to little Kayden and his family. We hope and pray he fully recovers.

Stay strong, Kayden!
