Even though the latest James Bond film, Spectre, was just a few short scenes away from being a total disaster, we can't let Daniel Craig go out like that. He's had a great run as the titular 007 agent as long as we willfully ignore everything that happened after the Dia De Los Muertos opening in Spectre, a film fueled by a tired, overused storyline and a lot of confusion. Fine, Spectre wasn't that bad, but it should have been a lot better. We can't blame him, right?

Rumor Alert!

For the past year or so, Daniel Craig has said he is not returning for another Bond movie, leaving fans to speculate who's next to take over the mantle. While Idris Elba remains to be the popular choice, we also have Tom Hiddleston, and even Michael Fassbender - each who have already commented on the role. In a dramatic turn of events, Craig finally alluded to the the fact that he would do another Bond film if the money was right.

According to sources close to Radar, Sony Studios is throwing buckets of money at Craig, desperately pleading with him to return as Bond for two more films, while a new younger successor prepares to tackle the role next:

"Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn't an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned."

Right, but is 150 mil enough to keep him? The source even went on to explain the studio's plan of re-upping the franchise:

"Then they will shoot two more films, which will be made virtually back-to-back, preferably featuring Daniel as 007 before he passes the figurative baton to someone else for a third movie that will mark the start of the new era"

Listen, Daniel...if this rumor is true, please consider returning as James Bond. Mainly because we don't want Spectre (which was rather disappointing compared to his other Bond films) to be your last outing as 007.
