While some speculated that the Instagram feud between Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez was fake, Sel just confirmed that it was in fact real. The "Can't Keep My Hands to Myself" singer took to Snapchat to post an apology of sorts for igniting the drama with her old flame Justin Bieber.
"What I said was selfish and pointless," Gomez wrote on her Snapchat across a black background. The 24-year-old was clearly referring to the comments she posted on Justin Bieber's Instagram photo with Sofia Richie on August 14. Gomez was slamming Bieber for choosing a new girlfriend over his fans.

"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol," Gomez wrote in response to the Biebs threatening to delete his Instagram account if people didn't quit leaving insulting comments. "It should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before anyone ever did."
After these initial comments by Selena, the situation escalated quickly. Bieber sent a scorching response to Gomez accusing her of latching onto him "for attention" during their on-off relationship.
Selena came back with comments that Bieber cheated on her "multiple times," to which he reportedly wrote back "I cheated...oh I forgot about You and Zayn?"
As you might imagine, fans of both singers went absolutely crazy over the drama. The hash tag #SelenaEndedJustinParty was started after the incident, but Selena has now admitted that she is over it.
Do you think Selena needed to apologize for the comments she left on Justin Bieber's Instagram account?
