A prank turned hilariously wrong when a 15-year-old girl got her head stuck inside a giant Barney dinosaur head.

Darby Risner of Trussville, Alabama found the Barney head at a friend's house on Saturday night and thought she could scare her friends by putting it on. ABC News reports that Risner "wanted to scare her friends with it when they came downstairs, but the prank turned into a joke on her when she couldn't get out of the over-sized dinosaur head."

Shortly after putting the giant Barney head on, she stated the head "wobbled and scooched down" covering her shoulders just above her elbows making it look as if she had "short little Barney arms."

"All the girls started trying to pull it off, but it wasn't budging," stated Risner. "I started getting a little claustrophobic and felt like it was kind of closing in." Her friends even tried rubbing Vaseline all over her arms, but the attempt was unsuccessful.

Luckily for Risner, one of her friends had a boyfriend in the Trussville Fire department who they then called for their assistance. After calling, Risner and her friend's mother decided that it would be a better decision to drive themselves to the fire station, in order to avoid alarming the neighbors with the fire truck sirens.

Trussville Fire Department Lt. Vince Bruno stated, "Soon enough, we saw a group of young girls waddling with one who had a Barney head stuck on her." Bruno mentioned that in his 33-year career that this strange incident was indeed a "first."

After several failed attempts at pulling the Barney head off, Bruno mentioned they began making "release cuts" into the head, which then allowed it to "slide right off" of Risner's body according to Bruno.

Risner told ABC news that the incident was embarrassing, but is now able to laugh about it.

Luckily Risner can laugh about it because the hilarious memes have already started showing up on the Internet.
