Late singer Christina Grimmie will have a private funeral with family and loved ones later this week in her home state of New Jersey. Grimmie was only 22 when she was fatally shot at a meet-and-greet event after one of her concerts in Orlando, Florida.

The funeral will be paid for by Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine. He was Grimmie's coach on NBC show The Voice on the sixth season of the show.

The funeral will be this week following a candlelight vigil this past Monday night. Held in Grimmie's hometown of Evesham Township, hundreds of mourners showed up to show their support for the family, according to People.

Also in honor of the late artist, Grimmie's manager Brian Teefey (also Selena Gomez's stepfather), set up a GoFundMe page for the Grimmie family that raised nearly $160,000.

A fan petition on change.org was started in order to memorialize the singer in the next Legend of Zelda video game because it was a favorite game of Grimmie's. The petition has received more than 30,000 signatures.

Christina's brother, Marcus Grimmie, stated, "She loved this town, she loved this state, she loved singing, she loved the Lord and she loved me and she was my baby sister." He continued by thanking everyone for the tremendous outcry of support saying, "Thank you to everyone once again. I wish I could elaborate more. You guys didn't know her like I did, so thank you. This is awesome."

To continue supporting the Grimmie family, visit the GoFundMe page and sign the change.org petition.
