Between her new music and love life with Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez has been filming the third season of her police procedural, Shades of Blue.
Lopez took to Instagram to share two photos from the show‘s set. In the pictures, she’s in character as Harlee Santos, a detective for the New York Police Department and giving off some intimidating stares.

The first shows her in her character’s typical detective wear on the way to a scene. Her eyes are hidden by a pair of aviator sunglasses, so she does not look like someone you’d want to mess with.
“This bad ass,” she captioned the photo. “#iloveharlee #harleesantos #shadesofblue #incharacter #actorlife🎬🎥 season 3 coming”

The second is a black-and-white photo that shows Lopez strapped up with a bulletproof police vest on and a gun in hand.
She’s not alone, either. She’s joined by her co-stars, Dayo Okeniyi and Vinny Laresca, who join in mean mugging facial expressions for the camera.
This isn’t the first time this year that Lopez has teased the third season of Shades of Blue.
In early July, she posted a photo of herself in character and covered in blood on a hospital gurney. She didn’t offer any context to the scene, aside from the fact that it had been filmed the day prior.
