'Jeopardy' Fans Accuse Ken Jennings of 'Misogynistic Ruling' After Letting Contestant Change Answer
09/17/2022 10:02 pm EDT
Is It Really Misogyny?
Waluigi comparisons are silly, but is it much sillier than saying Jennings and the judges on the show are misogynistic. They could also possibly just not like Harriet very much.
A Real Waluigi
It is possible that Jennings had some nefarious goal at hand and all of these fans are right to be angry. Next he'll remove his mask to reveal his pointy mustache, award-winning smile and criminal aura before pulling a purple hat from his back pocket.
No Partial Credit
Close is only in play with horseshoes and hand grenades, and now apparently Jeopardy! answers.
Second Chance!?
Jeopardy! has judges beyond just Ken Jennings behind the podium. The show is also edited, meaning viewers don't know exactly how a moment played out during the taping.
Double Jeopardy or Double Standard?
The jump to the situation being misogynistic seems rushed, but it was more than one fan chiming in.
A Former Watcher
Fans have been quite serious when it comes to the rules and how their Jeopardy! hosts should appear on the show. They also are quick to say they're no longer tuning in, despite following the news.
