The surveillance video has finally surfaced showing the controversial footage of Ryan Lochte and his fellow Olympic swimmers returning to the Olympic village after the alleged robbery.
The security footage obtained by Daily Mail shows swimmers Ryan Lochte, Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and Jimmy Feigen returning to the security checkpoint at the Olympic village that caused police to believe the robbery story was fabricated.

After a night of partying, the four swimmers dropped their phone and keys into the plastic trays but seemed like they were in a hurry to get through the metal detectors as they forgot to remove their belts and watches. The four of them seemed agitated when they had to be checked several times by the security guard.
Despite having been allegedly robbed, Lochte is joking and horseplaying around with Feigen as he hit him over the head with his Olympic accreditation, which is in a laminated plastic sleeve. The time stamp on the footage is marked at 6:56 a.m. on Sunday, only hours after the four gold medal winners say they were targeted by an armed man posing as a Brazilian police officer.
“We got pulled over in the taxi and these guys came out with a badge, a police badge, no lights, no nothing, just a police badge and they pulled us over,” Lochte stated to NBC.
“They pulled out their guns, they told the other swimmers to get down on the ground, they got down on the ground. I refused, I was like we didn’t do anything wrong, so I’m not getting down on the ground.” Lochte continued, “And then the guy pulled out his gun, he cocked it, put it to my forehead and he said, ‘Get down.’”
After Lochte reported this story, much speculation has been going on surrounding the authenticity of the alleged robbery. The Brazilian police are even saying that the entire story was a fabrication. If that’s true, Lochte could be looking at three years in prison for falsely reporting a crime.
