They’ve officially sang their swan songs!
Nashville series regulars Will Chase and Aubrey Peeples will not be returning to the Music City show for season 5, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This shocking news comes nearly two weeks after it was announced that CMT has saved the television drama after ABC’s initial cancellation in May.

Chase, 45, joined the cast in 2013 in its second season. He played country superstar Luke Wheeler while Peeples, 22, was promoted to series regular last year and played manipulative on-the-rise reality show winning singer Layla Grant.
According to THR, Chase and Peeples are most likely the only actors that will be saying goodbye. Discussions with lead stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere appear to be going well.
