A team of Korean LEGO builders, OliveSeon, have designed one of the most impressive Star Wars creations ever.

This massive LEGO Imperial Star Destroyer took the builders around 11 hours to construct after using approximately 42,000 bricks. The ship is around 7’3″ and weighs about 110 lbs.

Arguably the most impressive aspect of the entire project is that these artists built the entire Destroyer with with LEGO brick studs facing inwards, which makes the ship look more like a model than a LEGO construction. The small detail required much more careful planning from the builders, but in the end, the results were definitely worth it. The beautifully smooth design gives the exterior of the ship a remarkable, aerodynamic appearance.

Also, the builders of OliveSeon mocked up some blueprints for the project, and they shared them on the Internet for our viewing pleasure. The intricately-detailed blueprints show just how tricky this undertaking was for the designers.
