Comedienne Sarah Silverman made an awful joke on social media that totally backfired on her. The 46-year-old took to Twitter to share a picture of a neon orange construction markers and made the mistake of joking that they were Nazi swastikas.

After sharing the pic, Silverman’s followers were quick to point out that the symbol is a known construction sign that designates the location of underground pipes, according to Daily Mail.
