Miami Marlins ace Jose Fernandez has died after a boating accident, the franchise confirmed early Sunday.
Fernandez was 24.

The Marlins have canceled today’s game against the Atlanta Braves.
The franchise’s official statement: “The Miami Marlins organization is devastated by the tragic loss of Jose Fernandez.”
