During a flight from JFK to Seattle, one man from Hell’s Kitchen went crazy while high on drugs and had to be restrained after attempting to open an emergency exit on the plane mid-flight.
On an Alaska Airlines flight Monday, 28-year-old Jordan Fragiacomo tried to open a rear exit door after he tried kissing two flight attendants and rambling some incoherent babble, according to the police report.

Alaska Airlines spokesperson Halley Knigge stated: “We did receive reports that this passenger attempted to access a door at the rear of the aircraft. The passenger was unsuccessful as it is physically impossible to open an aircraft door while the aircraft is pressurized and inflight.”
The report mentioned that during the flight, the man was snatching passengers’ drinks and headphones. It was “obvious he was under the influence of something,” one witness recalled.
Fragiacomo tried to lay a kiss on one of the flight attendants before exclaiming that he wanted to “get off the flight,” and made a break for the back door. As Fragiacomo was restrained, the plane went into lockdown mode in order to ensure the safety of the cockpit and the other passengers on the flight, according to the New York Post.
The man threatened the officials at one point, “If you continue to restrain me, there’s going to be problems.”
At 9:45 a.m. local time, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Minneapolis-St. Paul International prior to the Seattle destination.
After landing in Minneapolis, Fragiacomo was taken to Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina. He admitted to the authorities that he had ingested the date-rape drug GHB and unknown amounts of cocaine and Xanax only three hours before the flight.
The jet eventually continued on to Seattle after this bizarre incident.
What do you suppose the other passengers were thinking as they watched this crazy situation on the plane?
