Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson’s knee is on the mends and he’s finally ready to return to the field and face off against the Jaguars.
It’s been almost 19½ months since he’s had his last meaningful game, but after knee surgery and some rest, he’s “ready for anything.”

“I feel great,” said Nelson. “Practice today felt great. I’ve done a lot on my own to get ready.”
But how many snaps does Nelson expect to play during Sunday’s game in Jacksonville? While he won’t put a number on it, he’s determined to take it play by play.
“We’ve discussed it,” said Nelson “We’ll play it snap by snap. Seeing what the weather’s like, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of guys are rotating just to stay fresh.”
While Nelson is coming off a season-ending knee injury, he’s not expecting any special treatment from the opposition.
“I think they’re going to play their defense,” said Nelson. “There’s nothing you can really do to test a guy. They like to mix it up between press and off. They’re going to play their stuff, and we’ll adjust and play football.”
The Packers are in an excellent position to win with Nelson’s return, and that means the pressure is on. So how does the star receiver expect he’ll do?
“There’s nothing you can do besides do your job and do it to the best of your ability,” said Nelson. “That’s all I’m going to worry about.”
“As an offense, that’s what it come down to as well. All 11 of us doing what we’re supposed to do, being consistent with it, not having mistakes, and we’ll be in position to win games every week if we do that.”
Do you think Nelson will come through on game day?
