Gilmore Girls fans rejoice! If it isn’t enough that Netflix is bringing the show back after nearly 9 years, the streaming service is also bringing fans a little bit of Stars Hollow to coffee shops around the country – and Canada.
In honor of the 16th anniversary of the original airdate for Gilmore Girls – and the upcoming revival on Netflix – on October 5, 2016, around 200 coffee shops across the nation are being transformed into the shows favorite eatery, Luke’s Diner.

With at least one of these Luke’s pop-up in every state, you’ll get the chance to visit these replicas no matter where you live. And any fan of the series will certainly want to take advantage of this coffee-lover’s dream.
Not only will the interior look like Luke’s – no grumpy flannel wearing owner/barista guaranteed – but the shops will be handing out up to 250 free cups of coffee between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. And if free coffee on top of the Luke’s Diner experience isn’t enough to get your through the door, the locations will also be selling the best in Stars Hollow swag and Luke’s Diner essentials, like aprons and t-shirts.
There will also be a special surprise under each the custom coffee sleeves, according to the Netflix press release. So, who knows what else the streaming service has up their sleeve!
Check out the Stars Hollow website for the list of coffee shops that are converting for “Luke’s Coffee Day.” Netflix will be releasing the new Gilmore Girls revival in November.
