Megan Oeser, a mother-of-six from Illinois, knew that her husband would be unprepared for when she left for a girls’ weekend getaway. In order to help him cope, she wrote him an open letter on Facebook.
In the letter, which has been shared now over 100k times on Facebook, the 36-year-old mother gave her husband a detailed outline of everything to expect over the course of the weekend.

Oeser posted the letter along with a photo of her walking out the door, holding two bottles of alcohol and dragging along a big suitcase.
Megan opened the hilarious letter by stating, “I’m writing this to you out of love, not fear. I wanted to go over a few things with you before you embark on this weekend alone…with the others.”
She talked about the letter with Daily Mail, in which she stated, “I was up the night before, and could not stop thinking about all of the things that I wanted to run by my husband.”
“He works 12 hour days, and when he’s not working here, he’s working on our new lake house that he built from the ground up,” Megan explained. “He’s never home on the weekends. It was honestly his first weekend with our youngest in three years. I really just started by explaining to him how to set up her diffuser, and then it just got out of hand.”

When Megan returned home from her girls’ weekend, she found her husband utterly exhausted and her house in a wreck. Clearly the madness that Megan described in her Facebook letter was real, and that Dad was not prepared for it at all. He clearly had no idea how much Megan had to do around the house.
Do you think this mother of six hit it right on the spot as to what it is like to be a mother of six children?
