There has been a large explosion at the SpaceX test site in Cape Canaveral in Florida.
According to NASA, SpaceX was conducting an unmanned test firing of one of its rockets when an explosion rumbled through the area, shaking buildings for miles around. More explosions also occurred after the initial explosion for several minutes, producing a massive cloud of black smoke.

The testing was in preparation for a launch this Saturday in which the rocket would hoist up an Israeli satellite.
