The Colin Kaepernick movement has spread like wildfire and made many mad, happy, and everything in-between. He first made his National Anthem protest known by taking a knee and following up with wearing socks that featured pigs on them. On the other side of the fence, though, he continues to donate all of his jersey sales to community programs for underprivileged children.

Lynch addresses Conan head on and gives a blunt, but truthful answer. He is supportive of Kaepernick, but delivers that support with some good perspective of “it’s gotta start somewhere.”
Regardless of what side you are on during this protest, it is nice to see a player come out and deliver a calm, smart response on the matter. Hopefully other athletes will take a page from Lynch’s book.
