Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney of Vanderpump Rules are now officially married. On Wednesday, August 17, the couple said “I do” in front of friends and family in Northern California.
“I’m so happy to have married my best friend and love that I finally get to call Tom my husband,” 29-year-old Katie Maloney stated to The Daily Dish. “Celebrating with our closest friends and family has been nothing short of an amazing experience.” Tom popped the question nearly 13 months ago in front of their friends in July of 2015.

Many of Katie and Tom’s co-stars from Vanderpump Rules played a role in the wedding. Lisa Vanderpump officiated the wedding as Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder and Scheana Shay were bridesmaids. On Tom’s side, he had Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval as two of his groomsmen.

Ahead of the wedding, Lisa Vanderpump gave the couple advice on how to approach the big day. “If I had to give any advice to a young couple getting married, I think it would be, you know, it’s such a pressure trying to organize all the kind of parts that are going to make up a wedding,” Vanderpump stated. “But, I think, you’ve got to really remember the most important thing is why you’re doing this in the first place and that you’re doing it because you love each other and not to lose sight of that. Almost think of it like a big party celebrating your love and you’re wearing a long white dress, that’s it.”
The wedding will be featured in the next season of Vanderpump Rules.
Congratulations to the newlywed couple!
