Though Kaley Cuoco didn’t attend the Big Bang Theory panel at Comic-Con, she still shared in the excitement over the new cast member on Instagram.
“Once my tv mom, always my tv mom,” Cuoco captioned her throwback photo.

As we previously reported, Katey Sagal will be playing Penny’s mother in the upcoming season of Big Bang Theory. Sagal once played Cuoco’s mother on the sitcom 8 Simple Rules.
Cuoco isn’t the only on excited for the new cast member and the new characters to arrive this season. Executive Producer Steve Molaro told ET that not only are they excited for the Sagal-Cuoco reunion, but they are excited to work with a new character. Sagal’s character is described as being a bit neurotic after dealing with Penny’s troublesome brother for years.
“I’m very excited!” Melissa Rauch, who plays Bernadette said about the new cast members. “I just found about this casting news the other day, and I was so excited. And Jack McBrayer playing Penny’s brother is so exciting!”
We know we are definitely looking forward to the new additions to the cast this season!
