Today is actor and man-god Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s birthday.
Once known as “The Rock,” a professional wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment, Johnson parlayed the experience into a massively successful acting career. Headlining several different action movies, Johnson has starred in The G.I. Joe franchise, the Fast & The Furious franchise, Hercules, and The Scorpion King, just to name a few.

Johnson is also set to enter the comic book movie realm as the Captain Marvel villain Black Adam in DC Entertainment’s Shazam! Though the movie wont’ hit theaters until 2019, fans are already anticipating Johnson’s role as iconic DC super villain. But until then, Johnson will star in this summer’s San Andreas and the HBO series Ballers.
Born in Hayward, California, Johnson turns 43 today. Happy Birthday, Dwayne Johnson!
