In the past couple of years, Disney has struck gold by adapting their classic animated features into live-action films, like Cinderella and Maleficent. SNL chose to spoof that emerging trend by putting together a trailer for a live-action film based on the 1942 animated film Bambi.
The skit features the SNL host Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Bambi and and his Furious 7 co-stars Vin Diesel (Taran Killam) as Thumper, Tyrese Gibson (Jay Pharoah) as Flower and Michelle Rodriguez (Cecily Strong) as Faline.
