In this year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game, Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor will be featured in the game as one of the villains.
The 28-year-old fighter will joins the likes of Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harrington, who will be taking on the leader’s role in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s enemy faction, the SDF (Settlement Defense Front). While “The Notorious” does not have any acting experience as of yet, he mentioned that he relished the opportunity to work with Activision for the new game. McGregor stated: “As a huge fan I am honored to be in a Call of Duty game.”

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare gamemakers put McGregor in a body suit with special motion sensors that would be capture every movement of his entire body. The sensors cloned McGregor’s motions as he rehearsed movements and the action scenes for the game, according to BigBrandBoys. Gamers across the world have been waiting with anxious anticipation for Infinite Warfare as it will be the first game of the of the COD franchise that will be set in outer space. The setting is an all-new dynamic for the first person shooter games, so the experience will completely different from anything that COD fans are used to.
The new game is set for release on November 4, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and is expected to achieve record breaking sales.
