Could it really be possible that the elusive graffiti artist Banksy was caught on camera? A woman in Melbourne seems to think so.
Some shaky video recorded on a cell phone shows a woman named Mia approaching a man in a dark alleyway as he is spray painting the wall.

As the woman approaches the painting, the mysterious person pulls his hood up and shuffles away. As Mia got closer, she saw the painting that depicted anti-immigration politician Pauline Hanson next to what the woman claims is Banksy’s signature.
At this point, Banksy’s identity has not been confirmed, and he has never been caught in the act of creating his graffiti.
While it is unknown if the footage is genuine, or if it is actual graffiti by Banksy, it does share a remarkable resemblance to the artist’s work.
In the brief video, the woman chases after the man. He turns and around and tries to block the camera with his hand while shouting “F*** off, f*** off.” He then escaped down the alley.
YouTube user Mia S shared the video with the caption: “So I was walking home from work late last night and I was watching a street artist doing a piece in hoiser lane. I double backed and pulled out my phone as he was finishing up. Can’t believe I just met Banksy!”
Banky’s work can be found across the world. They sometimes sell for up to $1.5 million and are collected by all sorts of celebrities, including Brad Pitt and Angelina.
Do you think this was the real Banksy?
