Tragedy has hit the lives of well-known MMA fighter Marcus Kowal, as he and his wife had to remove their 15-month-old child from live support Sunday.
Liam Mikael Kowal and his 15-year-old aunt were struck in the street on Saturday in Southern California. The two were hit at a crosswalk at the intersection of Hawthorne Boulevard and 133rd Street, but there was no stop sign and only flashing yellow lights.

Marcus Kowal announced that he and his wife would be donating their son’s organs in an emotional Facebook post:
Marcus Kowal’s brother also spoke to the couple donating his nephew’s organs to a good cause:
They made the decision, I think it’s a beautiful decision, and it’s based on the fact that if they can have a set of parents that doesn’t have to go what they’re doing through.
Authorities arrested Donna Marie Higgins, 72, on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and felony drunk driving.
Higgins was released from the Hawthorne jail on $100,000 bail. Higgins may now be charged with felony vehicular manslaughter since Liam has passed away in result of her hitting him.
