Actress Jennifer Lawrence had an impressive 2015, and her 2016 hasn't been too shabby either.

Lawrence has yet again taken the top spot on Forbes' world's highest-paid actress list with $46 million in earnings over the last 12 months. The talented actress enjoyed a wealth of success when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 finally landed in theaters late last year, taking in $653,428,261 million dollars worldwide.

She followed that up with the David O. Russell Directed Joy (which also starred frequent collaborator Bradley Cooper) and earlier this year she reprised her role as Mystique in the latest X-film X-Men: Apocalypse. So far, Apocalypse has brought in just over $542 million worldwide.

Lawrence received a sizable upfront fee for her upcoming Morten Tyldum Directed film Passengers, which helped contribute to her rather large lead ahead of 2nd place Melissa McCarthy ($33 million). Still, McCarthy is number one in dollar gains year over year, and most of that is due to her large take-home pay for Ghostbusters.

Ranking #3 ($25 million) on the list is Avengers star Scarlett Johansson, whose total was bolstered from the $17.5 million she is earning from Ghost in the Shell. $4 on the list is Jennifer Aniston ($21 million), who actually earns a great deal of her income from endorsements from companies like Smartwater, Aveeno, and Living Proof.

#5 is Fan Bingbing ($17 million), who has made a name for herself in films like Skiptrace and Lady of the Dynasty. She also starred in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Coming in at #6 is Charlize Theron ($16.5 million), who is one of the new additions to the Fast and Furious franchise, but took home a hefty sum for roles in The Huntsman: Winters War and Mad Max.

#7 is Amy Adams (13.5 million), last seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will most likely appear in the upcoming Justice League. She's also starring in her new science fiction film The Arrival. Rounding out the top 10 is #8 is Julia Roberts ($12 million), Mila Kunis ($11 million), and Deepika Padukone ($10 million), who is the only new entrant in this year's list.
