Did Ben take it too far, or do you think he has a point?

Ben Affleck is clearly upset about "Deflategate" and is determined to make sure everyone knows his disapproval.

"Deflategate is the ultimate bulls**t f***ing outrage of sports ever. It's so f***ing stupid that I can't believe [it]" said Ben Affleck in an epic rant on HBO show Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons. Affleck wasn't done there though, he was just getting started on what turned out to be a slurred, profanity-laced tirade bashing the entire scandal and the NFL as an organization.

Boston-native Ben Affleck is a well-known New England sports fan and had very strong opinions regarding the scandal that ultimately led to a four-game suspension being slapped on one of his favorite superstar quarterbacks Tom Brady.

The Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice actor believes Tom Brady is completely innocent, and that he was not deserving of the NFL investigation that requesting Tom Brady relinquish his cell phone to the league for their perusal.

"They're not the FBI! You're not required!" exclaimed Affleck providing his opinion on Brady refusing to give up his cell phone. "This isn't a f***ing federal subpoena. You're not required to turn over your bank records. It's outrageous!"

No one in the NFL was off limits in Affleck's rant.

He continued, "And Tom is so classy. It's a f***ing ridiculous smear campaign. And Goodell doesn't have the integrity - I want to say, frankly - doesn't have the decency to just say, 'You know what. This is stupid. I was wrong. This is ridiculous. We're running our greatest player ever through this mill of humiliation and shame, which is totally unwarranted, for the sake of our own bruised egos and our embarrassment...'"

Affleck then directed his commentary towards the NFL as an organization as a whole, bringing up other scandals that he believes deserved more attention.

"We haven't done anything to address the crisis of domestic violence in the NFL. But the f***ing football better not be 8% lighter. 'And if I find out it is, you're gone for four games!'"
