Alexis Arquette’s death certificate has been released and her immediate cause of death was cardiac arrest. Alongside her cause of death, Arquette was battling HIV for 29 years.

TMZ obtained Arquette’s death certificate and it showed that her heart had a severe bacterial infection three weeks prior to her death. HIV was a contributing factor to her heart attack, which was speculated by People in a report.

Although Arquette was a transgender, her certificate read her full name as Robert Alexis.
