In a video posted to Instagram Monday, Stodden revealed that she would be shaving her head to move into the next chapter of her life with a fresh start.
“Hi everyone. As you all know, I recently suffered a miscarriage and it’s had a huge impact on me emotionally,” Stodden said in the clip. “I’ve been thinking and I have decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture, and that to me is shaving my hair off. I want to step into this new chapter in my life fresh and with a new โฆ so I wanted to share it with you because you’re a huge support system to me and I love all of you so much.”
She later posted a shot of herself in a leopard print bikini and leopard headscarf to show off her new buzz cut.
“New chapter,” she captioned the snap.
She also posted a photo of herself lying on a leopard print rug. “Free feline #shavedhead #photography #matthewpaul,” she wrote.
