Brown and Stranger Things co-star, Winona Ryder, sat down with E! News to discuss the inspiration behind the signature look. The young actress explained that she was influenced by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road and from Winona Ryder herself.
“I showed you my school picture!” Ryder stated to Brown.
“Winona looked cool back in the day with the pixie cut,” Brown said, ” and I thought maybe I could bring it back!”
As for the future of the wildly popular Netflix series Stranger Things, the streaming service has not officially greenlit a second season at the moment. The continuation of the show is a near certainty, and the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have described what they think the second season may look like.
At a summer TCA panel, Matt told reporters: “We wanted to feel like a big movie, so we wanted to solve that main tension of where Will went and what happened to him. But then there’s the bigger mythology behind what happened, so there’s definitely a lot of dangling threads at the end…if people wanted it and Netflix wanted it, we could explore it and continue the storyline.”
Do you hope Netflix brings back Stranger Things for a second season?
