Parents everywhere are going to wish they'd learned this years ago!

Dr. Emily Puente, a mom and chiropractor, posted a video of an easier way to carry a car seat with a baby in it. Instead of hooking the car seat in the crook of her arm, she grips it in such a way that spreads the weight and makes it easier on the body.

"It's not going to hurt your shoulder, it's not going to hurt your hip, and you're not going to have to use your knee to swing like I had to do with my two [kids]," she explains in the video. "Someone taught me this before, and it's been the greatest thing."

She slides her hand through the handle, turns her palm up and then grips the base of the character.

"As soon as we switch to this," she says, "it's a completely different change in how I'm using my body, to be able to use and distribute this weight from this carrier to be able to carry it around."

It's no surprise the video is going viral. Any parent or caretaker who has lugged one of these carriers around knows the neck, arm and shoulder pain they can cause.
