News just keeps getting worse for the Alaskan Bush People. It looks as though Ami's cancer might be beyond repair.
The Brown family at the center of Discovery's Alaskan Bush People series received some devastating information this season, as it was revealed that Ami, the family matriarch, was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Being a reality program, the show's current episodes are behind the real-life events of the family. The current topic of the series is getting treatment for Ami, but a new report indicates that she's beyond that stage in real time.
"Alaskan Bush People Exposed" is a Facebook group that has been known to share information about the Brown family that doesn't appear on the show. In one of the pages most recent posts, Ami was pictured in a wheelchair.
Many fans on the page began commenting on the photo, asking the administrators for updates regarding Ami's health. One admin responded to these questions, revealing that the cancer has spread significantly. "Now it's stage 4 in both lungs and inoperable."
If this report is accurate, there will be even more difficult times ahead for the Browns.
