Jon Bon Jovi Surprises Fan With Cancer at Restaurant in New Jersey

One Bon Jovi fan got a huge surprise this weekend thanks to Jon Bon Jovi himself!

Carol Cesario, who has stage 4 lung cancer, has been a huge Bon Jovi fan since the 80s, and her daughter, Rosie Skripkunis, shared a message on social media last month in hopes that her mother would able to meet the famous musician.

The message worked, as the rocker surprised Cesario at JBJ Soul Kitchen in Toms River, New Jersey, Saturday!

"I lied to her," Skripkunis told The Morning Call of the surprise. "I told her I wrote to his restaurant, that they said they couldn't pass fan mail on, but that they had invited us for a free meal. It was a free meal, but it was a free meal with Bon Jovi there."

Skripkunis later shared photos of the special day on Facebook, along with a heartfelt post.

"Today Jon Bon Jovi and the amazing people at his kitchen helped my mothers dream come true," Skripkunis wrote. She also revealed that he spent over an hour with the family, sharing his new album with them, and gifting Cesario with a signed guitar, a book, and a kiss on the cheek.

"It was a very emotional and amazing day for our whole family and we thank you all so so much," she added. "Thank you for the amazing day and the great food and thank you to Meme, Carol, Dorothea, and Jon for making this day so special. You have no idea what this meant to us. This is a day we will never forget."

Skripkunis also shared a video of the moment Bon Jovi surprised her mother, standing behind her as he waited for him to notice he was there. Watch the heartwarming surprise above!
