WARNING: Major Spoilers ahead for the seventh season of Game of Thrones! Read at your own risk...

It's hard to deny that the latest episode of Game of Thrones, titled "The Spoils of War", was one of the series' best to date. There were twists, turns, great dialogue and giant battles to please every corner of the fan base.

This episode was also really good at hiding very important nods and references throughout. If you got caught up in the spectacle of it all, you probably missed a key conversation that revealed danger is on the way to Westeros.

Cersei Lannister is building her army and she's hell-bent on taking the Seven Kingdoms by force. During a conversation she had with Tycho Nestoris, it was mentioned that she was looking to add help from The Golden Company — one of the most dangerous groups around.

This mercenary force has been present in the book series, so fans of that medium surely know who the queen is talking about. For others, get ready for a wild ride.

The Golden Company was founded by a Targaryen bastard named Bittersteel and, like the Night's Watch, they provide a home for outcasts and exiles.

The group of 10,000 men has only been mentioned in the show on one other occasion. Back in Season 4, Davos tried to convince Stannis Baratheon to hire the force to win their war for the Iron Throne, but Stannis refused. He claimed that he didn't want to take the Seven Kingdoms with hired hands.

As we all know, Cersei doesn't have the kind of reserves that Stannis did.

In the episode, Cersei mentions that she needs something recovered, and that she's willing to pay The Golden Company to take it for her.
