One of the biggest surprises in the world of horror television last year was Syfy's Channel Zero, making the upcoming second season one of the network's most highly anticipated series. The upcoming season, dubbed "No-End House," got its first teaser that hints at the effect the show will have on its audience. You can check out the teaser above.

Season 2 will be coming this fall, focusing on stories based around the "No-End House." Following Brian Russell's story, a young woman visits a mythic house with a group of friends, which is filled with rooms full of disturbing horrors, each one more awful than the next. The first season was called "Candle Cove," which followed a man's quest to track down the mysterious origins of a children's program from the '80s that tied into a series of kidnappings.

"Channel Zero certainly hit a nerve with Candle Cove," said President of USA and Syfy Chris McCumber. "We look forward to creeping everyone out again this fall with No-End House– and can't wait to see what nightmares Nick has in store for the future."

When the series was initially announced, it was slated to run for two seasons. Thanks to the success of its debut season, Syfy announced it had ordered a third and fourth season.

The Season 2 premiere date has yet to be announced, but with the first six-episode season having debuted last October, we can assume it will debut around a similar time. With its fall release, Channel Zero: No-End House will be competing with the upcoming seventh season of American Horror Story in the realm of horror television.

Channel Zero takes a page from the American Horror Story playbook, with each season focusing on completely different storylines. One difference, however, is that AHS features regularly returning actors to play different characters, whereas Channel Zero won't necessarily follow a similar route.

All of the stories featured in Channel Zero originate from creepypasta stories, which are created and shared online.

Earlier this year, Bloody Disgusting reported that Season 3 of the series will be titled "Staircases." Per their site:

"Brandon Scott (Blair Witch) and Holland Roden (Teen Wolf) were the first to join the cast, with Scott playing Officer Luke Vanczyk, a young but already jaded cop, living in the shadow of his father, the Chief of Police. Luke's world-weary exterior hides a fierce commitment to justice, and a deep love for his troubled community.

"Roden will play Zoe Woods, a sharp, tough young woman whose struggles with mental illness have worn her down over the years. She hates that her younger sister, Alice, has to take care of her and she'd give anything to go back to the way things used to be."

Nick Antosca will once again serve as showrunner with Max Landis serving as an executive producer.
