Internet Outraged at Diane Kruger's Bikini Photo

Diane Kruger posted a photo from a "workation" she's taking in Sri Lanka and the internet erupted.

In the wake of her split from actor Joshua Jackson after a decade together, the actress has been taking some time to work and relax, but her fans are worried.

The bikini picture, which shows off her slim and toned body has many voicing their concern about her weight. And while some of the comments say they come from a place of caring, many cross the line into outright body shaming.

Now the comment section of the Instagram post is overflowing with remarks calling her "too skinny," accusing her of using Photoshop, and suggesting she "eat a hamburger." Some commenters even went so far as to call the photo "scary," insisting that she "be safe" because of how thin she looked.

Others have come to her defense, pointing out that the angle of the picture magnifies how thin she looks, and reminding followers that the actress has always maintained a slender body type. She posted another photo in a bikini from earlier in the trip, which no one seemed to have a problem with.

Will the internet never learn that it is not ok to tell women their bodies are wrong?
