Mackenzie Standifer Reveals the Status of Her Relationship With Ryan Edwards

Teen Mom fans are speculating that Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie Standifer could be separating after she posted a selfie on Instagram this week. However, after one fan asked if she "finally ditched" Edwards, Standifer responded by letting everyone know that she has no plans to call it quits with her husband.

"When you get a flat tire do you ditch your car? No. When your house is dirty do you walk away? No. It's no different with the person you love. Just because you walk through rough waters does not mean you give up. It means you have enough self esteem to keep going, put your head up and fight harder."

Even though Standifer, 20, sounds confident in her bond with Edwards, there are those that think the two may not be able to make it work in the future. Edwards, 29, has battled drug issues in the past and he recently completed a stint in rehab.

"I'm so tired of the support for her. She chose this! She chose to let this be in her life and the life of her child. She chose to let herself be distracted by a guy knee deep in addiction. Why would women support her doing that? She should have cared more about herself and her kid," one user wrote.

Others have voiced their support for Standifer and commend her for standing behind Edwards through his struggles.

"I am so proud of you and Ryan! Very well said. Never give up. Your true fans have your back. I'm one of them," another wrote.

Since going to rehab, Edwards seems to have been able to stay sober. However, Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, with whom Edwards once dated and shares a child with, fears that he could fell back into his bad habits at any moment.

A source claiming to be close to Edwards says that he and Standifer are now getting irritated that Bookout, 26, doubts his progress.

"Ryan is doing great since leaving rehab. He seems to have finally put his demons behind him and he's really committed to his sobriety. But Maci refuses to believe that his recovery is genuine and real," a source close to Edwards said while speaking with Hollywood Life. "It's like she's obsessed with him relapsing. She watches him like a hawk and is always on his back about being sober."
