The O.J. Simpson Bronco Will Appear on 'Pawn Stars'

The infamous white Bronco is arguably the most iconic item involved in the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Now, the vehicle is popping up in an unlikely place: Pawn Stars.

Simpson's ex-agent, Mike Gilbert, took the Bronco that was involved in the police chase broadcast across the country to the sellers behind the History Channel show in hopes of a big payday. He said he had previously been offered $500,000 for the vehicle, but turned it down.

The Bronco was owned by Al Cowlings, who drove the vehicle as Simpson was in the backseat with a gun to his head. Police pursued him for almost two hours with 95 million people watching at home.

"At the time of the O.J. chase, I was O.J.'s agent," Gilbert says in the preview of the show. "People were going to sell the Bronco to a company who were gonna take it down the freeway and by the murder site. I thought that'd be classless, especially since the trial hadn't started yet. So, I bought it from A.C. and kept it hidden for pretty much the last 22 years."

We don't see if Pawn Stars' Rick Harrison will make a successful offer, but he has commented on buying Simpson merchandise before.

In a July interview with TMZ, Harrison cautioned against buying anything tied to Simpson because of the murder trial.

"Some of the stuff's worth a lot of money, but it's never gonna be Babe Ruth stuff," he said. "It's never gonna [have] the great value of the other stuff because he killed people."

The History Channel's Pawn Stars airs Mondays at 9 p.m. CT.
