Kailyn Lowry Reacts to Jenelle Evans Leaking Her Pregnancy

While Kailyn Lowry just gave birth to her third child, the latest season of Teen Mom 2 is just now airing the start of her pregnancy. At this point in Lowry's pregnancy on the show, she hadn't made the big news public. That ended quickly, however, when co-star Jenelle Evans leaked the the news on Twitter.

On Feb. 23, Evans sent out a tweet congratulating Lowry on expecting, and Lowry was blindsided.

"Congrats on your pregnancy girl!" Evans tweeted. "Heard the news from the crew. Super happy for you. Having three is hard but totally worth it!"

During a clip for the next episode of Teen Mom 2, we see Lowry's reaction to the news via a conversation with her friend Michaella.

"My pregnancy's been hard, and I wasn't really telling anyone, and I didn't wanna talk about it in public," she said. "I'm afriad of not having control of my own story and my own life. I got online and was getting ready to announce my pregnancy, and Jenelle had leaked it."

While Evans cited her source as the MTV crew, Lowry claims that she talked to producers and doesn't think the crew had told Evans about the pregnancy.

Lowry didn't know what to think about the tweet. It could be seen as a simple mistake, or it could be read as Evans stirring up drama.

"I don't know if she was doing it to be a smart-ass or if she was doing it thinking that she was really congratulating me," Lowry said. "I feel like I would text somebody that, but to put it on social media where I haven't said anything is frustrating."

Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays on MTV at 9 p.m. ET.
