Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps and Tom D’Agostino may be divorcing after seven months of marriage, but the estranged couple has united in responding to rumors that their marriage failed due to infidelity and domestic violence.
The Daily Mail recently reported that de Lesseps was violent towards D’Agostino and had cheated on him during their relationship. A rep for D’Agostino told E! News that there is no truth to the allegations.

“The Daily Mail story is completely false. Luann and Tom spoke on the phone about it this morning and they are both upset about it. A lawyer’s letter to the Daily Mail has been sent,” the rep said.
De Lesseps herself told Page Six that the real reason the marriage ended was because the couple simply didn’t get along.
“It was impossible, we were having problems and we tried really hard to fix things, and we finally came to the conclusion it was just not going to work,” de Lesseps said. “It was a tough decision and we are both very sad about it. But the truth is we just weren’t getting along.”
The couple got engaged in February 2016 and married on New Year’s Eve 2016.
The Bravo star announced their separation last week.
