Lady Antebellum might be in the middle of a hot world tour right now away from their families, but the award-winning trio reveals one of their songs off their latest record, Heart Break hits close to home because it is actually about their children.

In a video shared to their official Twitter and touted a "love letter" to their kids, Lady Antebellum are opening up about their song, "The Stars" off their seventh studio album that released this past June that also happens to be the first record released since they all became parents.

With that, it's no surprise that the three looked to their kids as a motivating factor for one of the album's songs.

"['The Stars'] is the song on the album that was 100 percent inspired by our children," Hillary Scott explains, adding that it was also the first song they wrote with their producer when they got back to Los Angeles.

"All three of us have kids now," Charles Kelley added. "And I don't know; it felt like we couldn't do a record and not have a song about our kids."

Composed by Scott, Kelley and Dave Haywood, the band took a new approach with Heart Break and worked with buzzworthy producer busbee, whose collaborations with Maren Morris and Keith Urban put him on the country music mainstream map.

Scott says that while "The Stars" sounds like a love song, it really is about anybody that you love and knowing what they are going to accomplish, adding, "[It's] really special to us."

"We're all very emotional people now," Haywood said. "Having kids changes your life."
