Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's Divorce: What Allegedly Went Wrong?
05/02/2020 05:05 pm EDT
Cavallari and Cutler met back in 2009 after Cutler made the first move. "I got a call from my publicist that Jay wanted to fly me out to Chicago and take me out," she revealed during an interview on the web series A Drink With. "I didn't know who he was! I had to Google him. I was in the middle of filming The Hills so I was like, 'I don't want a boyfriend in Chicago,' and passed on it."
After attending a Chicago Bears game with her mom following his attempt to fly her out, she was reminded about Cutler's chivalrous move to take her on a date and decided to do so. The two quickly fell in love shortly after.
But in 2011, the couple got engaged, however, they broke up shortly after over their differences.
Later that same year, the two reunited and continued their relationship. That following year in 2012, while still engaged, the two announced they were expecting their first child together.
On June 7, 2013 the couple said "I do" in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 2014, the couple announced they were expecting their second child together.
Less than one year after that, they announced they were expecting their third child.
In 2017, their relationship dynamic changed after Cutler was let go by the Chicago Bears after eight years in the Windy City. Cavallari then began her new journey towards building a business empire.
After the launch of their reality show Very Cavallari, the couple was faced with cheating rumors between Cutler and the Laguna Beach stars best friend at the time, Kelly Henderson. All cheating allegations were denied by both parties accused.
After recently being stuck in the Bahamas together amid the coronavirus pandemic, the couple announced just days after their return that they would be getting a divorce. It's being reported that Cavallari has accused Cutler of "marital misconduct" in new legal documents obtained by TMZ. Now the two are currently trying to figure out their living situation as they navigate through this challenging time.
